Review of And the Band Played On (1993) by Leslie W — 21 May 2007

Once again five stars! Awesome cast and story line. This movie was informative of history of HIV/AIDS. I loved how this movie shows the paranoia of how this deadly virus was thought to have been spread and debunks all of the rumors.

I was however disappointed to learn the healthcare was cut drastically by a former president(watch and find out by whom) especially when he knew that there was a possible epidemic during his term. I loved the sensitivity this movie showed toward men and women who were suffering and died of the most deadly virus known to mankind.
