Review of And Soon the Darkness (2010) by Chukwuka J — 09 Feb 2011
Two young female American tourists visit a foreign land for the time of their lives only for their dream getaway to turn into a living nightmare as they fall prey to the crazy locals. All sounding a bit familiar right??? "And Soon Comes The Darkness" is about as formulamatic as movies come, the story has been done to death in recent years, not to mention that the movie itself is a straight remake of a 1970's flick based on a story by Terry Nation.
Marcos Efron's debut feature has nothing positive going for it, it plods along at a snails pace and offers up no moments of action or tension in it's 90 minutes running time, and that's 90 minutes of my life that I'll never get back after sitting through this junk!
