The trailer for 'And Soon The Darkness' is great... the movie itself is shit. Amber Heard and Karl Urban are two actors who have come a long way over the past 5 years and the quality of work to their names is looking impressive (imo).

Unfortunately this movie is a broken rung on their ladder. It's riddled with cliched characters and a horribly paced set-up. 2 girls cycling through Argentina find themselves seperated and one ends up missing.

With the help of an American man in the country looking for his own missing girlfriend they work together to find the friend. It could have been made so much better and in fact this is a remake of a 1970 film of the same name.

I haven't seen the original and it is no doubt a good one. Maybe one day I will bother to see it.
