And Soon the Darkness was a good title and plot but clearly a disappointment. It was way too slow in the beginning, it took forty minutes until anything really happened and then it went way to fast once it had actually started.

There were a lot of things that were quite hard to comprehend and it was difficult to understand how all the sub plots connected with each other. Basically the movie was way too short considering that it took forty minutes for anything to get the least bit frightening. And it's supposed to be a thriller.
