Review of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) by Brandon S — 17 Dec 2013
Look, I understand that Anchorman isn't a masterpiece. As a matter of fact, a lot of people just don't like it. But I grew up quoting this movie and it has entertained me with its special brand of absurdity for more nights than I'd care to say.
It's filled to the brim with insane gags and lines that are so brilliantly weird that they make you wish you'd written them. The movie is so packed with jokes that Anchorman is bound to get a giggle out of just about everyone.
I could rant about the spectacularly stupid set-pieces that rock this movie like the giant anchorman street brawl or the dog-kicking incident, but you'll just have to find out yourself. Definitely worth checking out, in my humble opinion.
