"And I'm Ron Burgundy. Go fuck yourself San Diego.".

-Ron Burgundy accidentally insulting his audience.

I understand that not everyone loves Will Farrell. Personally, I find him very funny. But even I would admit that not every film he's made has it the mark. That being said, I love this film with a passion. Maybe I'm wrong but I just get really caught up in the hilarious dialog and random moments throughout the film.

The story follows Ron Burgundy, a top of the line news anchor living in the 70's. He and his news team (Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner) are at the top of their game until a an upcoming female reporter Veronica, Christina Appelgate, threatens to upset the status que. But things get more complicated when Ron falls in love and tension arises between his love life and profession life.

All the actors play there parts so well, and their individual personalities really shine in each of them. Carell in particular gets a laugh every time he speaks. But that doesn't diminish the value of the other talents. Everyone plays off each other very well, and you can tell the off screen chemistry was just as strong as their onscreen chemistry.

Its is just a ton of fun and endlessly quotable. If I had one critique its that it doesn't quite make as many jokes about the 70's as it could have, but overall the laughter is still there. Its one of my favorite comedies.
