Review of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) by Roland H — 01 Apr 2014
I would very much like to remember who recommended this to me. Who was it that lavished high praise on this ridiculous, infantile, insulting, flat, moronic ninety one minutes that I will never recoup.
They must be ardent Will Ferrel fans. You would have to be, to have been able to fathom ANY redeeming quality from it.
Even the few lines that I have heard randomly quoted, "I don't know how to put this...but I'm kind of a big deal", were more amusing second hand, than being delivered here, at cost.
I am not a Will Ferrell fan, I have little appreciation of slapstick and that's all this is.
I want to remember who suggested I might like this and NEVER speak to them again.
