What Anchorman 2 gets right is its understanding of what made the original such a hit, and its determination to give the audience more of that without feeling too repetitive. Adam McKay thankfully delivers a strong sequel that is uproariously funny, and it's worth noting that Steve Carell's Brick Tamland is one of the funniest characters to come along in movies.
