Review of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013) by Keaton W — 25 Jun 2014
Sometimes it's nice to turn a blind eye to a films lack of quality in terms of whether it makes sense, or if the characters make realistic decisions. As outrageous and silly as this film is, I felt it hit every comedic nail it aimed for.
If you waltz in to ban Adam McKay film in hopes of catching an Oscar winner in disguise, you'd be mistaken. He and Will Ferrell tend to pump out pointless comedy after pointless comedy, and according to fans, it's pure comedic gold.
With classics (I use this word lightly and subjectively) like Talladega Nights, Step brothers, and of course Anchorman, they never fail to get laughs. I really enjoyed the sequel based on the outrageous bits and ridiculous turns it took.
Watch it with the mind and comedic maturity of a 16 year old, and you're sure to laugh throughout!
