At 2hrs 40 mins I won't be rushing to see it again soon, but this a sparkling script transferred to the screen with simple confidence and the courtroom scenes have great wit.
Remick's rape victim is portraid with a little too much flippancy, but this is a small flaw in a classic that deserves to be better remembered.
