Review of Anatomy of a Murder (1959) by Grayson S — 14 Jan 2013
My favorite courtroom drama stars one of my favorite actors: James Stewart. Stewart is excellent in his role as Paul Bieglar, a small-time lawyer who takes on a rape case. Lee Remick is equally good as the flamboyant Mrs.
Manion. Otto Preminger weaves us around the courtroom for nearly 2 hours straight, never losing interest or suspense. This classic has stood the test of time, and is entertaining to watch even today.
