It ia a combination of "Se7en" and "Da Vinci Code". It would have been better if Willem Dafo was not the lead. He looks like a villan, so you never sympatize with him all through the film.
The screen writer must have been an art history major in college. He obviously spent too much time studying it, he put in more then expected.
