Review of Anacondas: Trail of Blood (2009) by Luke P — 25 Aug 2009

The Anaconda saga comes to it's glorious glorious end, with Anaconda: Trail of Blood. Picking up directly where Anaconda 3 left off, this fourth-quel gains plus points for ambition and actually attempting a complex story arc, but loses points for boring the fuck out me.

Halfway through I was flicking through a magazine, answering my emails, getting the dirt out of my fingernails etc, anything to make the time pass. The characters are dull, the visuals are tv-quality (this film was made for the Sci-Fi channel), the script is laughable, the effects look cheap and there's no fun to be had.

Not even qualifying as a trashy guilty pleasure. Trash of the worst kind.
