I have never seen a film with Robert Redford that I didn't like. (... hhmm, maybe I should start checking which ones I haven't seen yet...) He is simply one of the greatest actors ever, and coupled here with a similarly fantastic actor, Morgan Freeman, there is no possibility of fail note.

Directed by Lasse Hallström which has made such great films as: Once Around, Chocolat and What's Eating Gilbert Grape, we can be sure that the human interactions are going to be interesting, while wonderful.

So why do I give this film only three stars after all this. Well, when Robert or Morgan aren't on the screen the film stumbles big time. Jennifer Lopez is very unlikeable in her role her. Maybe that was the intention but I personally think that was the wrong way to go. She seems to be going from man to man, even to the point of shagging the sheriff on the second time she lays eyes on him - and that in a car.

The girl is fantastic but you don't understand how she can be so well adjusted after living with her mum.

Anyway, the story should have been about the two guys without the interruption of Jennifer's character. However, this is still a good film to watch, but very forgettable!
