I really didn't fancy watching this film because of the many times i'd seen the last scene. It really isn't my kind of film. I can't understand why Richard Gere dressed as a Pilot does it for so many women.
It certainly doesn't do it for me. He was a complete arse all the way through the film. The plot isn't too bad and it managed to keep me interested. I was hoping for more of the war side of things to be honest.
You don't even get to see him get in a plane, never mind fly one. The performances aren't bad but not brilliant either. I can understand why people like this film but it just isn't my thing.
I don't regret waiting until now to watch it.
