Review of An Officer and a Gentleman (1982) by Intan V — 06 Jan 2010
I loathe click flicks, so it came as a surprise when I ended up enjoying this movie. Sure, some pars haven't aged well and some moments inspire more jeers than tears but there are more than enough moments that still work extremely well.
All of the actors are wonderful, especially Louis Gossett Jr. in the demented and memorable role. I'm not ashamed to admit that I found myself tearing up in a few moments. An Officer and A Gentleman is a well deserved 80's classic.
I highly recommend it!
