Review of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power (2017) by Kenneth B — 18 Aug 2017
I left feeling disheartened by our country's inaction since the first movie came out, but inspired that Al Gore moved ahead tirelessly to save our planet with a creative approach to empowering people.
I felt deeply sad learning that the discover satellite, the idea for which grew out of Gore's work, was shut down by Bush/Cheney. Instead of sending it in space to help us understand climate change, they sent us to a $3 billion dollar war.
I'm shocked by the audience reviews here - seems clear that many of the people who are knocking it haven't seen the film and are calling Gore names. What I saw was a man with integrity, heart (and humor!) and a focus on saving a planet we all live on - liberals and conservatives alike.
I have solar panels and this movie convinced me to make my next car electric.
