This is a beautiful and original film. Still absurd and surreal, the main protagonists are (unlike Greasy Strangler, Hosking's debut feature), somehow touching and real. This combination of the other-worldly and emotional honesty marks Hosking out as exceptional creative talent.
The cast, led by a wonderful Aubrey Plaza, are outstanding.
