All actors supply first class performances and Carey Mulligan truly shines, however the story is very simplistic and poorly directed. The apparent life shaping dilemna the film attempts to pose for 90 mins is very unsatisfyingly wrapped up in a 60 second montage at the end leaving you wonder why you bothered.
The story was adapted from a 16 page magazine article and it shows.
