The story is simple and direct. A clever and smart girl who aimed to go to Oxford to study English but she changed her mind when she met a man who was over twice her age. The guy was rich and he took her to many nice places and even propsed to her.
As a result, the girl decided to quit the high school without hearing any advice from her teachers. Unfortunately, she found that the guy was actually married and he was living with his wife and son for the whole time when they're dating.
It's really crazy that there was another couple were with them most of the time and didn't warn her that man was married!!! Finally, she went back to school and did the exam again and was accepted by Oxford eventually.
She learned that that was no short cut for her life......I feel so sad for her to give up everything for a man who was a jerk!!!!! Luckily, she is young to have time for fixing it!!!!
