Review of An Awfully Big Adventure (1995) by Lacuna P — 17 Sep 2006

AR has some interesting taste in roles, I must say. That I would rent the 2 movies that has some questionable sexual relations in them is only par for the course. Between being interrupted so many times and rewinding so I could understand Georgina Cates accent, it was an entertaining movie and of course I enjoyed watching AR as P.L. O'hara. I'd never seen AR having sex and "happy endings" before, so that was fun. But big question is: Why is this movie a comedy? I thought it was kind of depressing. The ending was tiny bit disappointing and melodramatic.

Coincidentally, after this movie ended, turned on the TV and found they were showing Bob Roberts on Channel 13. I saw a bit of it, waited for a glimpse of AR, but changed it at commercial. Next time!
