Review of An American Werewolf in London (1981) by Miguel P — 03 Feb 2010
The first R rated movie I ever saw, when I was 9. I really like alot of aspects of the film, the romance between David and his nurse, the continuing decay of Andy when he reappeared in dreams as well as the banter the two shared, and of course, the first transformation sequence from man to beast.
The only thing I'd have done differently is the ending. I like the 'beauty killed the beast' quality to it, but it's so sudden and almost rushed. However, bonus points for Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'Bad Moon Rising'.
