Review of An American Werewolf in London (1981) by Nina S — 14 Aug 2010
Watched this as it was on syfy HD the other week and I had heard it was a cult classic. Apart from playing spot the English actor (including Bricktop from Snatch as a cabbie and that bloke from the Bill as a copper) it was fairly slow going with very little in the way of action.
The transformation scene is a classic, but as for the wolf prowling scenes it's horribly outdated. The one saving grace for me is Jenny Agutter, who i've had a life long crush on.... even now.
