This movie has one of the most terrifying and well done openings I have ever seen... and heard. The sound of that werewolf howling in the vast dark hills from that small cabin club gives me a unique feeling that no other movie has ever achieved.
Also the dream sequences are pure art in the most terrifying of forms.
