This film still seems to hold up fairly well, even after close to 30 years. The transformation is still fantastic and convincing. It was great having all the disturbing feelings of Jacks visits wash over me again.
That really messed with me as a kid, when I last saw it in the early '80s. Also has great plot/character development below regardless of the horror movie angle. It didn't feel like the same old present with a new wrapper.
