The story leaves little to be desired and the ending is total Hollywood claptrap and really the songs, while great and total Gershwin, it is recycled. That said, the movie looks (especially looks) amazing and it sounds just as good.
This film is fantastic, especially the opus, and really the whole point- the ballet at the end.
