Hugely disappointing. A waste of a perfectly good story, I mean, what's better than to actually be able to say that this is based on documented events - nevermind their validity. They could have made this a truly creepy recount of a well-known myth that makes your hair stand on end.
Instead they made it a special-effects-suckfest. A Hollywood Haunting.
