Review of An American Haunting (2005) by Angeles M — 17 Feb 2008
This movie takes a bit of a funny turn half way through. Initially everything you see in the first half of the movie lets you think its about possession, but its not. It's about a young girl and her family in the late 1800s , the girl starts showing what would appear to be violent attacks during the night by some invisible force, which like I said earlier you think would be the devil or something.
As the movie continues though you discover a darker side of the family. The movie was, meh, nothing special. It does star Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek so the acting is pretty good. Just not enough her to really recommend it.
