Review of An American Haunting (2005) by Mark P — 01 Jun 2008
Very poor. Imagine if the Hallmark Channel decided to remake The Exorcist, sucked all the terror from it and gave it to the director of the Dungeons and Dragons movie (who'd have thought that it'd be possible to have that on your CV and it not be the worst movie you'd made?).
Poor acting, hideously intrusive orchestration and an overactive use of camera. Even the reveal at the end of the film is shoddily handled. Only beer and mates made this a bearable ordeal.
