Review of An American Haunting (2005) by Johnny T — 22 Feb 2011
This is one of the more annoying, irritating, obnoxiously un-scary scary movies in recent memory. This is the type of movie that you should be getting for free on television. Its images came from a dusty box in the horror-movie attic, and the attic is where the entire picture will be in a month. The unnecessarily famous cast for such a standard, creaking, fake-spooky ghost story (with Bible verses thrown in for good measure). Throughout the film, doors slam, windows shatter and poor, battered Betsy wakes up screaming with tiresome regularity; even Sutherland appears bored by it all.
VERDICT: "Some Ole' Bulls**t" - Second lowest rating in the system (Negative reaction). These films are truly terrible films. They are not the worst things ever made, but they are definitely awful and should not be seen by anyone..
