Ellen Page and Catherine Keener are fantastic in this chilling true life story of a horrible case of child abuse in Indiana in the 1960s. Keener is utterly terrifying and Page breaks your heart...but what's truly impacting is the chilling reminder that this all happened and is based on court testimony.
..and it feels sadly plausible. Disturbing and tragic but very well done.
