Review of An American Crime (2007) by Riku F — 26 Dec 2009
It's a true story about a girl who is locked in the basement. She's also been tortured by many people but no one cares about her or trying to help her. All the children in the neighborhood even joined to "punish" her.
The ending makes me a bit stunned. This film also reminded of an independent movie entitled Concrete, which is the story about Junko Furuta, a girl who is kidnapped and abused by 4 guys. Comparing with Concrete, I think this film is not-that-disturbing.
I'm sure does that Sylvia suffered more than it's in the film. This film cant convince me.However, the casts are great.
