Review of An Affair to Remember (1957) by William M — 29 Mar 2008
I saw this a couple of days ago with my mom she for one liked it. Myself, I thought it was ok and I guess it summed up the romantic movies of the era. Cary Grant's character was something to behold and you have to wonder how he would be in a time like today? As for Deborah Kerr, her character was good too and what happened to her in the movie was sad and all.
The ending was a happy one even though parts were thinking it might be otherwise. All I can say is that it is a good movie from the olden days.
