Review of An Affair to Remember (1957) by Meredith W — 10 Sep 2012
Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr meet aboard a ship and fall madly in love, despite the fact that they are both attached. They agree to dump their partners and meet six months later at the top of the Empire State Building.
Unfortunately fate doesn't run quite so smooth. Though there is much wit and obvious chemistry between Grant and Kerr, it was actually the scenes with Cary Grant's character and his grandmother that I found most beautiful and touching.
