Review of Amy Schumer: The Leather Special (2017) by Candice B — 11 Dec 2017

I finally gave this comedy special a try after reading the negative reviews. I actually enjoyed Amy's early work and am a general fan of comedy specials. A lot of Netflix's specials rank midst my favorites.

I think Amy's attempt to blame special interest groups was misplaced. This was truly nearly unwatchable. I got through about 15 minutes. Her cadence is completely uncharming and jokes seemed stale and forced. I noticed some people wanted too attack her looks. That is completely irrelevant to me. The jokes were simply bad and overall made me dislike her as a comedian.
