Review of Amy Schumer: The Leather Special (2017) by Evelyn R — 05 Apr 2017

I am a real Amy fan, but I feel pretty disturbed, especially reading that she believes there is a conspiracy against her going on. There's no denying those trolls exist, but in this instance I think she needs to acknowledge that she has made a seriously bad special.

It was appalling on every level, and my head is almost spinning because I have loved everything else she has ever done, film, stand-up, writing etc,. However her inability to take criticism is deeply worrying.

I was hoping to enjoy her for a long time to come, but if she doesn't acknowledge her own failure with this dreadful, boring, unfunny production, then I fear her exit from the spotlight is likely to be quite abrupt.
