The striking make-up and perfect beehive hair and gravelly voice hid someone who had always been rebellious but was often mis understood. Though her friends and family tried to support and help her she failed to address the demons on her life.

.....I left this film with a sense of sadness and loss - she was an impressive singer and performer and certainly wasn't interested in toeing the line for anyone. This film is must see......
