Review of Amy (2015) by Zurnzurn — 30 Nov 2015
The first half of this documentary is a revelation. Here is a young girl, a young woman, in many ways wise beyond her years, a force of nature, confident, supremely self-aware, no-BS, poetic, fiery. I loved her music, and yet I had no idea.
It makes the second half, the spiral of her public life, and losing her again, all the more hard to watch.
