A sad look at the brief but prolific life of a true musical talent that leaves you wondering what could have been if she had only gotten the professional help she truly needed. It also brings to the forefront the dysfunctional relationship that Amy had with her parents and ex-husband which contributed greatly to her demise.
But most importantly, it gives you an inside glimpse into the genius behind her songwriting, which was directly influenced by the hard, tumultuous life she led. A must-see movie for not only fans of Amy's music but anyone who appreciates true artistry and a well-done documentary.
