Review of Amour (2012) by Edwin P — 18 Sep 2013
Michael Haneke makes a strong point that there's no reason or clause or justification for any sane mind to flip in this drama with volumes of realism. Georges (Trintignat) does what ever he could with in his reach to save his dying wife Anne (Riva) and it's only a matter of time he realises what it's doing to both of them.
Emmanuelle Riva's performance is arresting.
