Review of Amour (2012) by Dawdlingpoet — 23 Nov 2021
This is a tough watch at times. Its quite touching, with the 2 main characters clearly being in a loving relationship. The acting is good and the dialogue is poignant at times. Its a thoughtful watch, with a bit of a slow plot pace but as time moves on, we get more of an idea of how deeply in love and reliant on one another the 2 main characters are.
I found myself feeling quite sorry for the husband, the situation he finds himself in. This is a bit of a sobering watch but its certainly a good watch. I'd recommend this film, yes.
