In a year when two of the most critically acclaimed films were revisionist propaganda (lies) produced by the CIA, it is reassuring that at least some filmmakers are still dedicated to telling the truth.
There isn't a false note in "Amour." It's not an easy film to watch, but at least it is an honest one.
