An exhausting film experience, but one which comes with small human rewards here and there. While its outlook on humanity is animalistic, the film is flawed in such a way so as to benefit the viewer and (hopefully) tap into each and every one of us in some kind of way.
Self-reflection mustn't always be congratulatory.
