Review of Amores Perros (2000) by Robert H — 03 Jun 2010
Amores Perros is one of those three-string plot stories, similar to Pulp Fiction, Magnolia, and Inarritu's other films, 21 Grams and Babel. It is executed to absolute perfection, but, unlike the formers, it doesn't seem as if it has a thematic center, or a definite story to tell.
I didn't feel the depth of emotion that 21 Grams (or Babel) had, so save yourself half an hour and watch that instead.
