Review of Amores Perros (2000) by Mark K — 28 Sep 2012
The most intense opening scene I've ever experienced. No one warned me about it. Excellent weaving together of three stories focusing on man's relationship with his dogs. (And it comes with one of the better soundtracks in recent memory: Cafe Tacuba, Ely Guerra, Control Machete, the Hollies, and some incredible instrumental interludes from music producer Gustavo Santaolalla.
