House makes an appearance even though it blew up in part 3. A demon possessed lamp travels cross country to California. The beginning starts like a scene out of the exorcist. there's appearances by a deceased husband, black sludge and a dismembered hand coming out of a bursting pipe, electrical equipment turning on by itself, black water coming out of the faucets, bleeding walls and floors.

..i like all these old effects!
