Review of Amityville II: The Possession (1982) by Bryan S — 16 Sep 2009

This is actually the prequel to the first movie, based on the actual events that caused the house to be haunted. The scares aren't really there for the first half of the film, but the thought of a loved one coming after you and murdering your entire family is incredibly horrifying.

The second half is a trail that doesn't really come across as believable. And the ending is a direct ripoff of the exorcist. Still, better than the first.
