Review of Amityville II: The Possession (1982) by Ice R — 02 Oct 2009
This was something different for sure. A dark, oddly cast, strangely plotted film which has little connection to the first film. The plot is at times off putting and disturbing but not in a good way. Rutanya Alda is AWFUL in this film and Jack Magner is a little bit too much.
The whole incestual subplot is disturbing and not in a remotely good way. Burt Young is strangely out of place also. However James Olson is decent and the movie ends up treading the so bad it's entertaining waters.
Really no reason to revisit this haunted house.
