Review of Amityville II: The Possession (1982) by Russell G — 10 Oct 2009
This one doesn't pretend to be a true story, and it's all the better for it. Basically it's a mash up of haunted house stereotypes with "The Exocist", and ends up echoing the real life murders that started this whole farce in the first place.
If not for the crap acting, I'd rate this equal to the original film.
