Review of Amityville II: The Possession (1982) by Terry O — 06 Jul 2012
This is hands down the scariest installment of the entire series. I love the fact that they decided to do this film because the real horror of the Amjityville house is the brutal mass murder of the 6 members of the Defeo family on November 13, 1974.
I honestly do believe that this movie is probably what Ronnie Defeo's defense attorney William Weber would've liked to had make the jury to believe: that the killings were done by the influence of demonic forces rather than sheer homicidal intention.
A great film and by far, the boy playing Sonny is completely horrifying during the killing scenes. I just can't forget the scene with the little girl in the closet. Check it out!
